Enfield Bald Hill Loop

19th October 2019

15.5km Training Walk

The Enfield Bald Hills Loop is in one of the largest conservation reserves in the area. Located not far south of Ballarat, this walk will take us on the southern slopes of Mount Misery. This area was extensively mined during the gold mining era of the 1850’s to 1860’s. Surface Point was the site of a Chinese settlement and their round mine shafts are still to be found today. This is a Grade 3 hike, so is suitable for those with a reasonable level of fitness and experience.
